COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

As we emerge from the current global health crisis, we will be enforcing certain policies that will ensure that “the gathering of our community” prioritizes EVERYONE’s safety: our attendees, our performers, and our staff. We appreciate your cooperation for the health and welfare of all.

The following policies will also be in effect:

  • Broadway Dallas recommends that all patrons wear masks, but masks are no longer required.
  • Broadway Dallas reserves the right to change its mask policy based on current public health conditions.
  • All patrons will pass through a security magnetometer (to replace previous wanding procedures).
  • Bags will be limited to the size of a small clutch purse (max. 4.5” x 6.5”), larger clear bags (max. 6” x 12”) will also be allowed. Please leave purses, backpacks in your vehicle or at home.
  • Patrons are encouraged to practice increased hygiene by utilizing the hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the venue.

Please be aware the Music Hall will operate at 100% capacity and that you will be seated with patrons directly in front of, next to, and behind you.

To ensure the comfort and health of audiences, staff, cast and crew, and to prioritize their safety, in consultation with health officials and industrial hygienist Braun Intertech, Broadway Dallas has made the following improvements to the Music Hall at Fair Park:

  • Air filtration system has been upgraded to MERV-13 standards.
  • Freestanding HEPA air purifiers have been installed in key locations throughout the venue.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers and disinfecting wipe dispensers have been installed throughout the venue.
  • Surfaces will be professionally cleaned regularly before, during and after each performance.
  • Upgraded box office and ticket scanning stations to limit contact between patrons and staff.

The following policies will also be in effect:

We ask that all attendees conduct a health self-assessment before coming to the Music Hall. If you or any member of your party are experiencing any of the following symptoms, we ask that you not attend the show and that you contact us to make appropriate arrangements. Please do not come to the theater if you are not feeling well:

  • Headache
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Sore Throat
  • Loss of Sense of Smell

Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of performance, including, without limitation, required: temperature checks, testing, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas, and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to unilaterally make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law. Future updates will be provided to ticket holders prior to the performance.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. You assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against Broadway Dallas, Inc., The John Gore Organization, Inc., John Gore Theatrical Group, Inc. d/b/a Broadway Across America, the Venue, the Presenter, the Event, the Event Producers, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, successors and assigns and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents.
