“THE BIOGRAPHICAL DRAMA IS A HEARTWARMING CELEBRATION OF MR. DIAMOND’S UPLIFTING MUSIC AND INSPIRATIONAL LIFE.” -The Washington Times

Like Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical before it, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL is an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir, that tells the untold true story of how America’s greatest hitmaker became a star, set to the songs that defined his career.

Producer Ken Davenport said, “Neil is one of the best live entertainers the world has ever seen. In his fifty-year career, he’s performed for millions of fans around the globe. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to honor his legacy than having A BEAUTIFUL NOISE touring North America, visiting the same cities where he gave so many people so much joy. Now, after a successful Broadway run, good times never seemed so good as A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL, is in Dallas making its premiere at the Music Hall at Fair Park in March 2026.”

Producer Bob Gaudio said, “When Neil and I first started talking about making a musical using his music, I knew how daunting that would be. With Jersey Boys, I learned how vital it is to have a first-rate creative team making sure everything weaves together. We have that on A BEAUTIFUL NOISE—an incisive book that tells Neil’s story honestly, fantastic choreography, one of the best directors on Broadway guiding the entire production, and of course, Neil’s iconic songs.”

A BEAUTIFUL NOISE: THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL is directed by Tony Award® winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch), choreographed by Olivier Award winner Steven Hoggett (Once, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), and written by four-time Academy Award nominee Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Two Popes).

expand annual district-wide STEAM education program
to reach more schools with more performances
featuring touring Broadway musical
THE WIZ

Dallas ISD and Dallas County theater students and teachers participate in bespoke in-classroom STEAM-based curriculum and attend two dedicated performances of THE WIZ during its Dallas engagement

Presented by The Moody Foundation
with additional support from The Eugene McDermott Foundation, The Chi Omega Christmas Market, Fichtenbaum Charitable Trust, Texas Counter Fitters, H-E-B, Theodore and Buehla Beasley Foundation, Harold Simmons Foundation, Texas Commission on the Arts
and the Dallas Education Foundation

Dallas, TX (September 12, 2025) Broadway Dallas, Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD), The Moody Foundation, and a consortium of generous underwriters announce the continuation and expansion of the annual district-wide STEAM education program themed around Broadway musicals. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Music Hall in October of 2025, the program has been expanded to two performances for the Dallas engagement of THE WIZ, supported by corresponding STEAM-based curriculum. Originally launched in partnership with Dallas ISD, this impactful initiative will now include students and educators from across Dallas County, building on the strong foundation established by Dallas ISD leadership and their commitment to arts education.

Over the course of multiple weeks, theatre students and teachers from 40 Dallas ISD High Schools and 19 Dallas County schools will participate in specially created curriculum that relates to the production. As part of the lesson plan, all participating students and teachers will attend a dedicated performance of THE WIZ at the Music Hall at Fair Park where the show is playing September 9-21, 2025.

The program was borne of a growing partnership between Broadway Dallas and Dallas ISD, which strives to provide students with access to “the spirit of Broadway” through a wide array of programs and initiatives. This program has previously centered around the national tours of HAMILTON, AIN’T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS, BEETLEJUICE, and HADESTOWN.

The curriculum was developed to prepare students for college and 21st-century careers with an 8-class bespoke curriculum centered around costume and wig design, and includes the supplies needed to execute the project. THE WIZ-inspired curriculum integrates cultural responsivity, technical theatre, and STEM concepts to bring the magic of Broadway directly into the classroom while helping students with core-curriculum support.

“Live theater has a unique way of inspiring creativity and confidence,” said Ken Novice, president and CEO of Broadway Dallas. “Through this program, we’re not just introducing students to the world of theater, we’re helping them uncover new possibilities for their futures by exploring how their talents can open new doors and lead to opportunities they may have never imagined.”

As we celebrate the Music Hall’s 100th anniversary, Dallas ISD is incredibly proud to expand our vital partnership with Broadway Dallas, bringing the immersive power of THE WIZ and a unique STEAM curriculum focused on costume and wig design to thousands of students across Dallas County,” says LeVonue Brewster, M.Ed., Dallas ISD Executive Director of Academic Enrichment Services. “This integrated approach to arts and STEM education is essential for empowering our students with critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. Our data shows that it significantly inspires them toward future STEAM and arts careers. By providing these profound experiences, we are not just introducing them to live theater; we are illuminating pathways and affirming that their stories, talents, and futures belong on every stage, in every field.”

The Moody Foundation, a supporter of this program since its inception, is its Presenting Sponsor this year, joined by corporate, foundation, and individual donors supporting Broadway Dallas Education: On Stage, In Classrooms and Throughout the Community.

“The Moody Foundation is proud to sponsor the DISD Days during the 100th Anniversary of the Music Hall at Fair Park,” says Francie Moody-Dahlberg, trustee of the Moody Foundation. “Broadway Dallas’ signature education program brings the magic of live theater into classrooms, and we believe experiences like THE WIZ inspire creativity and opportunity for every child.”

In celebration of National Arts Education Week, September 14-20, 2025, Broadway Dallas proudly presents this program as a cornerstone of the organization’s various arts education initiatives that deliver the spirit of Broadway to all corners of the community through the magic that only live theater can deliver.

About THE WIZ
This groundbreaking twist on The Wizard of Oz changed the face of Broadway—from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy’s journey to find her place in a contemporary world.

The principal cast includes Dana Cimone, making her national tour debut, as Dorothy,  Alan Mingo Jr., returning to the role he originated on the pre-Broadway tour and played on Broadway as The Wiz, also making their national tour debuts Sheherazade as Glinda and  Kyla Jade as Aunt Em/Evillene, D. Jerome (MJ the Musical, Hamilton) as the Tinman,  Mykal Kilgore (Motown The Musical, The Book of Mormon tour) as the Lion and Elijah Ahmad Lewis (Ain’t Too Proud, Motown The Musical) as the Scarecrow.

The ensemble features Maati Kheprimeni Angaza, Sai Anthony, Joseph Armon Boyd, Aliyah Caldwell, Lawrence Dandridge, Cyniah Elise, Amitria Fanae’, Kaiyla Gross, Gregory Hamilton, Maya Imani, Jesse Jones, Cal Mitchell, Moriah Perry, Leon Ray, Ephraim Takyi, Josh Walker, Lyn Webber, Kameren Whigham, Mikayla White and Chanse Williams.

Featuring a book by William F. Brown and a Tony Award-winning score by Charlie Smalls (and others), director Schele Williams (The Notebook), award-winning choreographer JaQuel Knight (Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Black is King), additional material by Tony-nominated and Emmy-nominated writer and TV host Amber Ruffin (“The Amber Ruffin Show,” “Late Night With Seth Meyers”), Joseph Joubert (music supervision, orchestrations, & music arrangements), Allen René Louis (vocal arrangements, music arrangements), and Emmy Award®-winning music director and Grammy Award®-winning writer, Adam Blackstone and Terence Vaughn (Dance Music Arrangers) conjure up an Oz unlike anything ever seen before.  A dynamite infusion of ballet, jazz, and modern pop bring a whole new groove to easing on down the road.

THE WIZ design team includes scenic design by Academy Award-winning Hannah Beachler (Black Panther, Beyoncé’s Black is King and Lemonade), costume design by Emmy Award-winning and two-time Academy Award-nominated Sharen Davis (Ray, Dreamgirls), lighting design by Barrymore Award-winning Ryan J. O’Gara (Thoughts of a Colored Man), sound design by Jon Weston (Parade), video and projection design by Daniel Brodie (Motown the Musical), wig design by Charles LaPointe (MJ the Musical) and make-up design by Kirk Cambridge-Del Pesche (The Piano Lesson). Casting is by TRC Casting Company.

The production also includes ‘Everybody Rejoice’ music and lyrics by Luther Vandross, as well as the ‘Emerald City Ballet’ with music by Timothy Graphenreed.

Based on L. Frank Baum’s children’s book, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, THE WIZ takes one of the world’s most enduring (and enduringly white) American fantasies and transforms it into an all-Black musical extravaganza for the ages.

THE WIZ premiered on Broadway in 1975 and became an instant sensation, going on to win seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Ted Ross), Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Dee Dee Bridgewater), Best Choreography (George Faison), and in a Broadway first, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Costume Design (Geoffrey Holder). “Ease on Down the Road” became the show’s break-out single, and “Home” has since become a bona fide classic. That original production ran for four years (first at The Majestic Theatre and later at The Broadway Theatre) – and 1,672 performances – on Broadway. A 1978 film adaptation starred Diana Ross, Ted Ross, Mabel King, Richard Pryor and Lena Horne, and marked Quincy Jones’ first collaboration with Michael Jackson. The most recent Broadway revival played from March to August 2024 at the Marquis Theater in NYC.

MARIA CALLAS IN CONCERT: THE HOLOGRAM TOUR | Tickets On Sale Now

OPERA STAR MARIA CALLAS RETURNS TO THE MUSIC HALL AT FAIR PARK
FOR ONE-NIGHT-ONLY HOLOGRAM CONCERT
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31
WITH LIVE ACCOMPANIMENT BY THE DALLAS OPERA ORCHESTRA

TICKETS ON SALE NOW

Dallas, TX (September 8, 2025) – In celebration of the Music Hall at Fair Park Centennial, Broadway Dallas and The Dallas Opera partner together to bring audiences a surreal, one-night-only concert event—Maria Callas in Concert: The Hologram Tour by BASE Xperiential on Friday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Music Hall at Fair Park. Tickets are on sale now.

On All Hallows’ Eve, state-of-the-art holographic technology will bring world-renowned opera star Maria Callas to life on the Music Hall stage. Featuring the legendary soprano’s digitally remastered recordings, this concert will include iconic arias from Bellini, Bizet, Verdi, Puccini, Gounod, and more, with live accompaniment from the “glorious playing” of The Dallas Opera Orchestra (The Dallas Morning News).

Since it opened in 1925, the Music Hall has been the cultural touchstone for the citizens of Dallas. This event will continue that longstanding tradition in celebration of the venue’s 100th anniversary.

In November 1957, the Dallas Civic Opera (now The Dallas Opera) officially opened with a headlining concert starring Maria Callas at the State Fair Music Hall (now Music Hall at Fair Park). Callas, even then the most famous diva in the world, was accompanied by Maestro Nicola Rescigno and The Dallas Civic Opera Orchestra. Together they dazzled audiences, setting a new artistic precedent for opera stars and companies around the globe. It was a night to remember, as TIME magazine recounts, “[At the end] Callas took a single step forward—so dramatic that people all but jumped. She raised a commanding hand over her head, then threw her arms wide and sent that last full note straight up through the roof.”

Nearly 70 years later, Maria Callas’ electrifying voice will be reunited with The Dallas Opera Orchestra at the Music Hall to make history once again.

“Broadway Dallas believes that partnerships among Dallas arts organizations are a key element of what makes this such a fantastic arts community,” says Ken Novice, president and CEO of Broadway Dallas. “Partnering with The Dallas Opera to present this groundbreaking new way to experience an important piece of Dallas history is extremely exciting for all of us. The combination of tradition and technology perfectly suits our celebration of the Music Hall Centennial as we reflect on the past and look toward the future.”

“The incomparable diva Maria Callas is lovingly entwined with the heart of The Dallas Opera. Her 1957 opening night concert set the bar for our company’s artistic standards,” says Ian Derrer, The Dallas Opera’s Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO. “We are thrilled to partner with Broadway Dallas to relive Callas’ incredible legacy – and with it, an important part of Dallas history.”

Tickets for Maria Callas in Concert: The Hologram Tour are available exclusively at BroadwayDallas.org or by calling 800-982-2728. Group orders of 10 or more may be placed by calling 214-426-4768 or emailing Groups@BroadwayDallas.org.

Broadway Dallas STEM Curriculum

For four years, Broadway Dallas has partnered with Dallas Independent School
District to create the integrated experience known as DISD Day, in which more than
3,000 students and teachers work on a custom STEAM-focused curriculum aligned
with one of our season’s biggest shows. This school year, Broadway Dallas took the
next step in broadening this program’s reach, creating Dallas County Schools Day,
which means the customized programming will serve more than 5,000 area middle
and high school students.

Each school sends one teacher to receive training and materials for the specially
curated, eight-lesson unit, in which students learn the elements of wig and
costume design, with a special focus on ecological sustainability. Curriculum
will focus on collaborative group work, character analysis, taking
measurements, color theory, and costume/wig construction. Final projects
include full-size costumes, wigs, and scale-model designs that utilize found
objects and food packaging from their classrooms and communities. Each
participating school can bring one exemplar project to display at the Music
Hall.

In addition to providing custom curriculum written by experienced local educators,
Broadway Dallas provides all materials for construction and display, subsidizes
transportation costs for schools to attend the matinee, and provides lunch and a
ticket for every student who participates in the program. Broadway Dallas is
dedicated to serving the students in this community and helping create equitable
arts access for all.

About Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Critics have raved about the show throughout its history, from its 1994 Broadway premiere through the recent smash U.K. and Australian productions: “A delight! The astonishments rarely cease,” declared The New York Times in reviewing the original Broadway production.“A tale as old as time, but as exhilarating as ever,” raved the London Evening Standard. “Witty and exuberant with breathtaking choreography,” wrote the Sydney Morning Herald.

The structure and tone of the story and score made Disney history. It was just the second time that a Disney film had been structured as a stage musical where the songs are integral to plot and characterization. This Menken/Ashman innovation is credited with the 1990’s Disney animation renaissance that went on to create such film classics as Aladdin, The Lion King and Hunchback of Notre Dame and helped re-introduce the book musical form to popular culture.

Beauty and the Beast, directed & choreographed by Matt West, features Alan Menken’s Academy Award®-winning score, songs by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman (including the Academy Award®-winning title song and the show-stopping “Be Our Guest”), plus songs written especially for the stage by Alan Menken and Tim Rice (including “If I Can’t Love Her” and “A Change In Me”).   The production features a book by Linda Woolverton, author of the original screenplay.  Sets are by Stanley A. Meyer, costumes by Ann Hould-Ward (Tony Award® winner for Beauty and the Beast) and lighting by Natasha Katz.

Longtime Menken collaborators Michael Kosarin and Danny Troob are music supervisor/arranger and orchestrator, respectively. New dance music arrangements are by David ChaseDavid Andrews Rogers is music director.

Completing the design team, John Shivers is sound designer, Darrel Maloney is projection & video designer, and David H. Lawrence is hair & make-up designer. Jim Steinmeyer is the illusion designer, as he was on the original 1994 production. Jason Trubitt is the production supervisor and Myriah Bash is the general manager. Anne Quart serves as executive producer.

Previous Disney-produced North American Tours of Beauty and the Beast played for almost eight years, for a combined total of 2,893 performances to nearly 6 million audience members.

The National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (the Jimmy Awards®) are a national celebration of outstanding student achievement, recognizing individual artistry in vocal, dance, and acting performance and elevating the importance of theatre arts education in schools. The Jimmy Awards® are presented by The Broadway League Foundation.

“I am beaming with pride after seeing our two Outstanding Lead Performers on a Broadway stage, showcasing their immense talents to the nation,” says Ken Novice, president and CEO of Broadway Dallas. “Braedon and Fabiola were extraordinary, both in their performances and in their representation of Broadway Dallas. Our entire organization is thrilled that Fabiola is bringing home the Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress after her third year participating in the program. It’s truly wonderful to witness. We can’t wait to see what they do next!”

Each year, the Jimmy Awards® celebrate the Best Performance by an Actor and Actress, chosen from a group of talented student performers sponsored by regional awards programs supported by professional theatres. Winners are selected by a panel of industry experts, with the awards named in honor of James M. Nederlander’s dedication to nurturing young talent.

As the recipient of the Best Performance by an Actor, Quijada will receive a $25,000 scholarship. She will attend Texas State University in San Marcos this fall.

“It feels amazing to have been able to achieve a dream of mine three years in the making,” says Quijada. “I am so grateful for all the people who believed in me and helped me get this far, including those at Broadway Dallas who have taught me to challenge and believe in myself. I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to speak up for what means to me on the podium, and I hope I can continue to inspire stories of strength in artists like me on and offstage.”

“My experiences this week were incredible,” says Carlton. “I got to be around so many wonderful actors, talented performers, and artists that are into musical theater just like I am. I got to work with and learn from so many people that have a big say in this business and were willing to share their valuable knowledge with us. It was amazing to get to share my gift and get to be in the presence of so many gifted people who were at the Jimmys this week.”

“Our nonprofit arts organization’s programs continue to grow in terms of the number of students and community members served as well as the individual impact we have on each of their lives,” says Allison Bret, Director of Education and Community Partnerships at Broadway Dallas. “Fabiola and Braedon’s success is a national recognition that Broadway Dallas’ commitment to increased access and inclusion for more students and schools at a local level is a worthwhile investment in the future of the art here and wherever these talented young students’ careers take them.”

The Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards presented by New York Life aim to inspire and honor excellence in high school musical theater, and to recognize the importance of musical theater and arts education within the North Texas community. This regional program culminates at the Music Hall with an awards ceremony, modeled after the Tony Awards®, to recognize outstanding musical theater productions and students.

ABOUT THE LION KING
Approaching 30 landmark years on Broadway, The Lion King continues ascendant as one of the most popular stage musicals of all time.  Since its premiere on November 13, 1997, 30 global productions have been seen by over 124 million people.  Produced by Disney Theatrical Group, under the direction of Andrew Flatt, Anne Quart, and Thomas Schumacher, The Lion King has made theatrical history with two productions worldwide running 20 or more years and three others running 25 or more years.

Performed over its lifetime in nine different languages (English, Japanese, German, Korean, French, Dutch, Spanish, Mandarin and Portuguese), there are currently nine productions of The Lion King around the world: Broadway, London, Paris, Hamburg, Madrid, Tokyo, Toronto, Mexico City, and on tour across North America. The Lion King has played over 100 cities in 24 countries on every continent except Antarctica; its worldwide gross exceeds that of any film, Broadway show or other entertainment title in box office history.

The Lion King won six 1998 Tony Awards®:  Best Musical, Best Scenic Design (Richard Hudson), Best Costume Design (Julie Taymor), Best Lighting Design (Donald Holder), Best Choreography (Garth Fagan) and Best Direction of a Musical.  The Lion King has also earned more than 70 major arts awards including the 1998 NY Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, the 1999 Grammy® for Best Musical Show Album, the 1999 Evening Standard Award for Theatrical Event of the Year and the 1999 Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Choreography and Best Costume Design.

Director, costume designer and mask co-designer Julie Taymor, the first woman to win a Tony Award for Best Director of a Musical, remains actively involved in the show, launching new productions and maintaining the flagship Broadway production.

The Broadway score features Elton John and Tim Rice’s songs from the Lion King animated film along with three new songs by John and Rice; additional musical material by South African Lebo M, Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin, Julie Taymor and Hans Zimmer; and music from “Rhythm of the Pride Lands,” an album inspired by the original music in the film, written by Lebo M, Mark Mancina and Hans Zimmer.  The resulting sound of The Lion King is a fusion of Western popular music and the distinctive sounds and rhythms of Africa, ranging from the Academy Award®-winning song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” to Lebo M’s rich choral numbers.

Elton John, Lebo M, and Hans Zimmer all collaborated on the 2019 version of the film, executive produced by Julie Taymor and Thomas Schumacher, which has gone onto extraordinary worldwide success.

The book has been adapted by Roger Allers, who co-directed the animated The Lion King feature, and Irene Mecchi, who co-wrote the film’s screenplay.  Other members of the creative team include:  Michael Curry, who designed the masks and puppets with Taymor, Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound design), Michael Ward (hair and makeup design), Anthony Lyn (associate director), Marey Griffith (associate choreographer), Clement Ishmael (music supervisor), Lisa Dawn Cave (production supervisor), Thomas Schlenk (general manager) and ARC/Mark Brandon, CSA (casting). Anne Quart serves as executive producer.

Frisco Live Selected to Operate Proposed Frisco Center for the Arts

FRISCO LIVE SELECTED TO OPERATE
PROPOSED FRISCO CENTER FOR THE ARTS

NEW NONPROFIT COMBINES EXPERTISE OF
BROADWAY ACROSS AMERICA AND BROADWAY DALLAS

(April 2, 2025)  The city of Frisco plans to partner with a newly formed nonprofit, Frisco Live, to manage and operate the envisioned Frisco Center for the Arts (FCFA).  Frisco Live combines the collective resources and expertise of entertainment industry leader Broadway Across America and local nonprofit venue operator Broadway Dallas.

On Tuesday, the Frisco City Council authorized the finalization of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Frisco Live to operate the proposed facility. This letter of intent builds on the city’s previously announced partnership with Broadway Across America and Broadway Dallas to present an annual slate of Broadway shows at the new facility as “Broadway Frisco”.

Frisco Live was selected to operate the planned facility following a monthslong, city-led open procurement process that attracted multiple national/multi-national companies to submit operational proposals.

“Frisco Live shares a vision with the leaders of Frisco of a thriving arts hub and an economic catalyst for the citizens of Frisco, Prosper and the surrounding communities.  At the FCFA, on any given day, you’ll be able to attend a Broadway show or concert, take in a student production in the community hall, and listen to a local singer-songwriter perform in the enormous lobby.  All while surrounded by an ever-changing collection of artwork from local artists.  We are ecstatic to have been chosen to provide world class Broadway programming, ground-breaking education and work-force training programs, and now to manage this world-class facility,” said Ken Novice, President and CEO of Broadway Dallas.

Added Novice, “The growth in Collin County and to the north is extraordinary and undeniable – unmatched anywhere in the country.  Frisco Live will bring an exciting array of programs to this thriving sector of the DFW metroplex so that the community can enjoy concerts and Broadway in your own backyard.”

“The FCFA will be a state-of-the-art, amenities-laden venue, a magnet that will attract audiences from throughout the region to Frisco to fill restaurants and hotels rooms.  From a service, comfort and convenience standpoint, we will bring the best practices from facilities around the world to Frisco to make the FCFA a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone who attends, and to provide VIP suite services that Frisco residents have come to expect,” said Lauren Reid, President of the John Gore Organization, parent company of Broadway Across America.

About the Frisco Center for the Arts
The FCFA concept includes a 2,800-seat performance hall, capable of accommodating Broadway and large touring and community productions, as well as a 300 to 400-seat community hall, to be used primarily by Prosper ISD, while also providing access to community organizations, Frisco-area public and private educational institutions, and cultural events.

The proposed city-owned facility would be built on community-owned land adjacent to the Firefly Park development at the southwest corner of the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and US 380.

More information about the project is available at theatreprojects.com/FriscoPlanning

We want to record and share your stories, some of which will be made part of a permanent video archive and an upcoming documentary.

Think of your most cherished Music Hall memory and then visit www.broadwaydallas.org/MusicHall100 for more information about how you can participate the next time you visit the Music Hall.

Broadway Dallas Presents THE WIZ | Tickets On Sale March 28

TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY, MARCH 28

FOR THE ALL-NEW NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
BROADWAY HIT MUSICAL
THE WIZ

SEPTEMBER 9-21 | MUSIC HALL AT FAIR PARK

Dallas, TX (March 25, 2025) – Everybody look around! The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm is back and coming to Dallas.

Broadway Dallas, Broadway Across America (BAA), and producers Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson, Brian Anthony Moreland, Ambassador Theatre Group, Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker and NETworks Presentations are thrilled to announce that tickets for the Dallas, Texas engagement of THE WIZ will go on sale Friday, March 28 for 16 performances from September 9-21 at the Music Hall at Fair Park as part of the 2024/2025 Broadway series presented by Broadway Dallas.

The Baltimore Sun raves “Powerhouse performances.  Stunning choreography. Visionary sets” and the Chicago Tribune proclaims THE WIZ is “An eye-popping and high-intensity revival!”

Based on L. Frank Baum’s children’s book, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, THE WIZtakes one of the world’s most enduring (and enduringly white) American fantasies and transforms it into an all-Black musical extravaganza for the ages.

Additional information on tour cities, venues, performance schedules and single ticket on sale dates are available at WizMusical.com and follow THE WIZ on social media channels.
