LOVE JAZZ AND ROMANCE returns to Music Hall Fair Park Sunday February 16th. Vocalist Will Downing, guitarist Julian Vaughn and Saxophonist Geral Albright set the mood Valentine’s weekend. National comedian Jay Lamont hosts this amazing evening. With a career that spans more than 37 years and 27 albums, Will Downing is one of the most versatile and beloved voices of our time.  In 2020 Julian Vaughn was the #2 Artist of the year and had the #2 and #17 Billboard songs of the year, “Afro Calypso” and “Afternoon Delight.” His latest independent release, titled “SOLO” is slated to be his best work to date. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Gerald Albright was already an accomplished saxophonist by the time he enrolled at the University of Redlands, but he switched to bass after he saw Louis Johnson in concert. Playing both sax and bass, he became the consummate session and touring musician in the 80s, working with everyone from Anita Baker, Ray Parker, Jr., Atlantic Starr, The Temptations and Maurice White to Les McCann, Teena Marie, the Winans and Whitney Houston.
