June 4-July 3, 2025 | Music Hall at Fair Park
24/25 Broadway Series presented by Broadway Dallas
More than 100 million people around the world have experienced the phenomenon of Disney’s THE LION KING, and now you can, too, when Dallas’ best-loved musical returns to the Music Hall. Winner of six Tony Awards®, including Best Musical, this landmark musical event brings together one of the most imaginative creative teams on Broadway. Tony Award®-winning director Julie Taymor brings to life a story filled with hope and adventure set against an amazing backdrop of stunning visuals. THE LION KING also features some of Broadway’s most recognizable music, crafted by Tony Award®-winning artists Elton John and Tim Rice.
There is simply nothing else like THE LION KING.
Visit our neighbors at the African American Museum of Dallas (just across the parking lot) to view the exhibit From Africa to the Broadway Stage: Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. The free exhibit features elements from the original Broadway production alongside a curated selection of African art and artifacts from the permanent collection of the museum.
The exhibit is available for viewing now through July 3. The museum will operate its regular business hours until THE LION KING opens on June 4. At that time, the museum will be open as early as 2 hours before your curtain time and will close 30 minutes before your curtain time, to allow ample time for you to enjoy the exhibit and get to your performance.
